Spring Break- Monday the 6th part two

After lunch, we went on a self guided walking tour. Stop number one was the Bank of America Stadium, which was right across the street from our hotel. We followed the tour through parks, statues, and notable buildings. It wasn't actually on the tour, but we found a really nice statue of Queen Charlotte.

The Levine Museum of the New South was on our map, and we visited it when we arrived there. It had a couple of nice exhibits, but overall we weren't impressed. I think maybe it just wasn't our kind of museum. After the museum, we found Seventh Street Station and ImaginOn right there. At this point, DS complained of the foot he had injured a few weeks previously hurting, so we abandoned the tour to head back to the hotel. We'd made it to #14 out of 21. Number 19 was Discovery Place where we'd spent the morning, and Number 18 was St. Peter's Episcopal Church right next to Discovery Place, so we'd seen those too.

Luckily, we were able to catch a trolley part of the way back to the hotel again. When we got off at the stop, who should we see but DH outside of the building he works in, taking a break! The kids yelled, "There's Daddy!", and sure enough, it was. We spoke to him for a minute, then walked the remaining couple of blocks back. DS spent the remainder of the afternoon watching tv and resting his foot. DD had a nap!

Supper was courtesy of the hotel, and bedtime was fairly early. We were all tired!
