Update on DH, and Halloween Costumes

DH is doing pretty well. He is in a fair amount of pain, but there is no permanant damage. He's on pain meds, and he has a cream to put on his arms. They have to be wrapped in bandages as well. He hasn't felt like doing much today. Most of this morning he spent in bed with an ice pack on his face. He came down to play with DD about three thirty this afternoon, and fell asleep on the couch. DD is having a nap too! :) Obviously he won't be going in to work tomorrow, but hopefully he will feel well enough to work from home.

Right after lunch, I took the kids out to give DH a bit of peace and quiet. We went to purchase Halloween costumes while the selection is still good. The past few years, we have procrastinated till the week before Halloween, and had a poor selection. We hit the Disney Store, and decided on Captian Hook and Tinkerbell. Both kids are a bit disappointed that I won't let them wear their costumes until Halloween.

Peter Pan is my favorite Disney story! Your kids are going to look SO CUTE! Be sure to post pictures, ok?

OMG! I'm glad your DH is OK. It's amazing the things they manage to get themselves into sometimes, isn't it? Remind me to tell you the story about the time DH tried to kill a yellow jacket with a machete. *insert eye roll here*

The kids costumes sound adorable! DS hasn't decided yet, but he also likes to make his own costume so we have time to figure it out.
