Atlanta Get Together
We all had a great time at the Saturday meeting of the GSFL. Valerie hosted. We managed to pull off a surprise baby shower for Erin, with gifts sent in from all over the country, and even the UK.
Ginny showed Kirsten and I how to lace our pieces for framing. I have three I'm trying to get laced now. My first attempt came out not centered, so I'm trying again! Ginny also made lots of yummy goodies. The strawberry margarita pie was excellent. She sent home cookies with me, which my husband and kids appreciated. :)
Valerie, Ginny, and I went to Hobby Lobby after everyone else had left. I was good and didn't buy anything, even though I had a chart in my hands. I will buy it when they go on sale!
Ginny and I stayed until after ten, talking to Valerie. I don't think any of us wanted it to be over. :)
