Sigh

You would think an almost 9 year old boy would be too old to have a temper tantrum. You would be wrong.

DS is lying on the floor in the den crying because I told him he has to eat the sloppy joe I fixed him for lunch (three hours ago) before he can have ice cream. He's howling that he doesn't like sloppy joes. News to me, he ate one just fine a couple of days ago. DD is happily eating her Powerpuff Girls ice cream that she got from the ice cream truck. She ate all her sloppy joe. DS's Spiderman ice cream will stay in the freezer until he does the same.

Stand strong! I'm dealing with this kind of thing from David. I figure if he's hungry enough to want a sweet, then he's hungry enough for the mac-n-cheese!

Ah the joys of parenthood :(

Stand strong. Believe it or not, I know a 42 year old woman who can throw tempertantrums (including rolling on the floor and banging her arms with tears streaming down her face) when she doesn't get her own way on the simplest of things. She always gets her own way eventually.
