Back home, finally!

Dec. 26, we left to go visit DH's family in Missouri. We spent Monday driving up, then had dinner with his mother, his sister, and her kids.

Tuesday, we went to his sister's house to do the exchanging presents thing.

Wednesday, we drove his Mom back home to Springfield, IL, where she lives. On the way, we stopped in St. Louis to see an exhibit the art museum had on Treasures from the Royal Tombs of Ur.

Thursday, we had lunch with DH's mom's sister. Afterwards, we went to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. I enjoyed the Christmas at the White House display, and the Ghost in the Library presentation was really, really cool.

Friday, we went to the Dana-Thomas House and the Museum of Funeral Customs.

Saturday, we started the drive back home, stayed the night in Nashville, and finally made it back around 4 Sunday afternoon.
